Sintah Chemicals Product Portfolio
Antimony Trioxide Replacements
Seamlessly transition away from Antimony Trioxide (Sb₂O₃) without altering your existing formulations. Our drop-in solutions provide equivalent or enhanced flame retardancy while maintaining mechanical integrity.
2000B (Multi-Polymer Replacement): A direct substitute for Sb₂O₃ in a wide range of polymers including ABS, HIPS, PP, PBT, PA, and PVC. It acts as both a standalone flame retardant and a powerful synergist in halogenated systems. Ideal for glass fiber-reinforced PBT and PA6, delivering excellent UL94 V-0 ratings and robust mechanical properties.
FR-FS11 (For PVC & SBR): Specifically engineered for flexible PVC and SBR applications, such as wire & cable and synthetic leather. It effectively replaces Sb₂O₃, maintaining superb mechanical and electrical properties with excellent cost-effectiveness.
FR-FS12 (For ABS): A high-performance inorganic powder developed with advanced nanotechnology. At a 1:1 to 1.2:1 ratio, it replaces Sb₂O₃ in ABS, achieving equivalent flame-retardant results with no impact on mechanical or electrical performance.
FRX-A105 (For Glass Fiber-Reinforced Nylon): A direct 1:1 replacement for Sb₂O₃ in brominated systems for glass fiber-reinforced PA6 and PA66. It maintains the same high standard of flame retardancy and mechanical performance while offering excellent electrical properties and heat resistance.
FRX-A105M (Masterbatch for Nylon): An engineered masterbatch for glass fiber-reinforced nylon. Used at twice the original Sb₂O₃ dosage, it provides equivalent flame retardancy and mechanical strength, with enhanced electrical insulation and low migration.
FRX-A302 (Antimony-Free for ABS): An advanced, antimony-free synergist that enhances char formation. In ABS formulations, it effectively replaces Sb₂O₃ (at a 5:3 ratio) in combination with brominated flame retardants, achieving equivalent performance without compromising properties.
Halogen-Free & Organophosphorus Solutions
Meet evolving sustainability directives and demanding performance requirements with our high-efficiency, halogen-free flame retardants.
FRX-A101 (For High-Performance Nylons): A high-efficiency, halogen-free organophosphorus flame retardant for PA, high-temperature nylons, and epoxy resins. It offers a low required dosage, reduced density, and minimal smoke generation. In glass fiber-reinforced PA66 and PA6, it achieves UL94 V-0 at thin sections with a high GWIT of 775°C while enhancing mechanical strength.
FRX-A107 (Drop-in for PA6): A modified organophosphorus flame retardant for polyamides. It serves as a direct, 1:1 replacement for leading imported flame retardants in 30% glass fiber-reinforced PA6, providing strong flame resistance, excellent mechanicals, and low smoke generation.
FRX-A206 (For PBT): Designed for flame-retardant PBT formulations. This modified organophosphorus FR delivers performance comparable to global benchmark grades. At a typical dosage in 30% glass fiber-reinforced PBT, it achieves UL94 V-0 with excellent mechanical integrity, low density, and reduced smoke.
C001 & H001 (For Polypropylene (PP)): A suite of non-halogen-free* flame retardants specifically formulated for different PP types.
- H001: Ideal for homopolymer PP and copolymer PP with low ethylene content (≤8%).
- C001: Designed for copolymer PP with high ethylene content (≥8%).
Both offer low dosage rates (1-4 wt%), do not require antimony trioxide, and allow for inorganic fillers, achieving a UL94 V-2 rating.
